Who you are dealing with
The Wedding Newspaper is a trading name of Stokel Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14488247). Registered office: Salvus House, Aykley Heads, Durham, DH1 5TS. VAT number: TO DO: VAT registration number. Contact: hello@weddingnewspaper.co.uk.
Booking and payment
All prices include VAT. Your slot is booked when you have accepted a written quote and paid half of the writing and design fee. The remaining half and the full print cost are due when you approve the final proof. The paper is not sent to press until that payment is received.
Print costs
Printing and delivery are charged at the printer's price on the day the order is placed. If that price differs from your quote, you are told the new figure before you pay.
What you supply
You agree to attend the interview and supply photographs and details by the dates in your schedule. Late material may delay delivery. You confirm that you own the photographs you send or have permission to have them printed, including from any professional photographer.
Revisions and approval
One round of revisions is included. Further rounds cost £60 each. Corrections of my own errors are free at any stage. Once you approve the final proof in writing, you accept its content, including spellings, names, dates and photographs. Changes after approval require a reprint, which is charged at cost.
Printing and delivery
Papers are printed by a specialist UK newspaper printer and delivered by courier. Newsprint is a natural material and small variations in colour and trim are normal. Delivery dates are estimates. I plan for delivery two weeks before the wedding to allow for delays, and I am not liable for courier delays outside my control. If the papers arrive damaged or misprinted, tell me within three working days with photographs and I will arrange a reprint.
Cancelling
You may cancel within 14 days of booking for a full refund, unless work has started at your request within that time. After that, cancelling before the interview returns your deposit less £50. After the interview, the deposit is kept to cover work done. Because each paper is made to your specification, it cannot be returned once printed, except where it is faulty.
Copyright and use of your paper
You may print, share and copy your finished paper for personal use as much as you like. I keep copyright in the writing and design. I will not show your paper, your photographs or your story in my marketing without your written permission.
Liability
My liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
